It is important to stir frequently so that flour does not burn or stick to the bottom of the<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">pot. Add onions, thyme, green pepper, garlic and tomato and tomato paste stirring continuously until onions are tender. Stir in cabbage, carrots, salt and pepper and peanut butter until blended. Cook for 2-3 minutes then add water stir until blended smooth and thick. Bring to a boil and add potatoes and yam, hot sauce; adjust seasoning and cook for 15 minutes stir occasionally. Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Serving Suggestions:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This savory stew may be eaten along with some hot homemade bread, Johnny cake or served over white rice.
